At the organization’s holiday party, a total of CI$891 was collected from the sales of raffle tickets and donations, which the organization matched for a total of $1,782. Additionally, grocery bags were distributed and filled with food items which were presented to Cayman’s ARK to be used to feed families in need in Cayman during the holiday season. Jeanette Totten, President of CIREBA, said, CIREBA is pleased to contribute to this very worthy program, which has a great impact on our society here in the Cayman Islands. Tara Nielsen, from Cayman’s ARK said, We were delighted with the support from the Real Estate Sector. CIREBA made a huge effort to gain support for ARK’s 5th annual ‘Giving is Receiving’. These efforts resulted in a tremendous contribution to the Food and Funds Campaign. The funds raised were immediately used to purchase Fosters Food Fair and Cost-U-Less Food Vouchers, which were included with the filled blue bags to each family. Each family received a minimum of 5 filled food bags plus CI$50 in vouchers depending on how many children were in the home.
