As part of our ongoing commitment to our local community, CIREBA is thrilled to support the Central Caribbean Marine Institute (CCMI), whose vision is a world with vibrant oceans and healthy coral reefs. CCMI's 2022 "Healthy Reefs for the Future" emphasizes the need for swift action so that our coral reefs have a chance at survival and Cayman's biodiverse waters can thrive. Their research through the Healthy Reef campaign has evidenced that Little Cayman's coral reefs show positive signs of resiliency; however, they are not immune to human impact and global climate change. Through donations, the CCMI can continue its cutting-edge research of our marine ecosystem and transform this research into conservation and education initiatives. CIREBA proudly supports the work they do.
