Through this programme CIREBA has committed to donating CI$10,000 a month to various charities and organizations until the end of 2020. CIREBA is proud to announce that KER-A-THON received the most votes from the CIREBA members during the month of October and a cheque for CI $10,000 was presented to the organization. In an effort to raise funds for charity CIREBA broker/ultramarathon athlete Kerri Kanuga completed the Cayman Islands first ever double crossing of the North Sound. The swim started at Barkers with the first leg completing at Starfish Point then continuing on to Camana Bay. It took Kerri 8 Hours and 38 Minutes to complete the swim of approximately 20 km and 30,000 strokes. The funds will be donated to various registered charities in the Cayman Islands of Kerri’s choice. CIREBA is happy to help those most in need within the Cayman community and they look forward to future monthly donations in 2020.
