Born in Jamaica, Debi relocated to the Cayman Islands with her family in 1976 and grew up in Grand Cayman. She has seen the island develop and grow into the Jewel of the Caribbean. She attended university at Western in London, Ontario, and has held executive management positions in the corporate and technical services industry. Debi Bergstrom and her husband Kris founded Edgewater Development Ltd. in 1998, but have been building, developing, buying and selling properties in the Cayman Islands since 1988. Wanting to have a more in depths look at the Real Estate market, Debi joined Cayman Islands Properties Ltd. in 2009 as a Real Estate Professional, before launching Edgewater Properties as a Broker and Owner. She specializes in sales of high-end residential homes, beachfront condominiums and commercial properties. Always making sure that her clients are completely satisfied and with their purchase or sale and their goals have been achieved. With over 25 years as a property professional and a principal in the construction industry, Debi brings her unique perspective to lead her team. Debi is married to Kris Bergstrom who has extensive knowledge and a sound background in Cayman real estate with many years in project management and working in construction here in the Cayman Islands. He also has held executive management positions in the airline industry and is a qualified airline Captain. Together they have 3 children, all born and raised in Grand Cayman. Debi enjoys the island life and enjoys scuba diving, boating, sailing and paddle boarding when time allows.
