The not-for-profit organisation supports local individuals that have developed an advanced, progressive and incurable illness. Hopice Care also offers support for family members, care-takers and relatives of the patients. CIREBA supports Cayman Hospice Care on an ongoing annual basis, however, they were chosen to receive this particular donation by one of the 2007 CIREBA honourees, Mr. Henry Propper. Mr. Propper was honoured for his many contributions to the planning and development of the Cayman Islands. Mr. Propper chose Cayman Hospice Care to receive the $10,000 Honorarium, which will be used by the organisation for operating and day-to-day expenses.
