CIREBA DONATES TO THE PINES NCVO RETIREMENT HOME

The donation of CI$15,000 was presented at the organization’s holiday party.

Jeanette Totten, President of CIREBA, said, “CIREBA is thrilled to be able to support the programs and services of The Pines with this donation. We greatly appreciate the work this organization does in aid to the elderly in our community.”

“We are most grateful to the Cayman Islands Real Estate Brokers Association (CIREBA) for its kind and generous donation of CI$15,000.00 to the Pines,” Lynda Mitchell, Manager of The Pines said.

“This donation will help to complete our ‘Room/Ward Sponsorship Drive’ that started over a year ago. These funds go towards the purchase of furnishings and equipment for the rooms and wards. We are happy to say, that we have only one private room, one two bedded room and one four bedded ward left for sponsorship. Our Organization is dependent on the compassion and charity of the community, and we greatly appreciate the thoughtfulness and support from CIREBA.”

About The Pines
The Pines is a non-profit charitable organization established to provide residential accommodation for the elderly. The Pines was formally opened by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II in 1983 as a Retirement Home, primarily to meet the needs of independent elderly citizens during their retirement. Over time the emphasis has moved to the provision of nursing care in response to the needs of the community and the high care requirements of many of its residents.

About CIREBA
