As part of our ongoing commitment to our local community, CIREBA is pleased to support the Cayman Islands Crisis Centre by donating funds through the fundraising efforts of Oddy Grullon. Oddy has ran 4 marathons in 4 months (September-December 2022). Oddy’s Story: On January 3rd of this year, while enjoying one of her many morning runs she was unexpectedly attacked by a man on a bicycle. She was fortunate that she was able to fight him off despite sustaining injuries to herself. Oddy has chosen not to let this incident break her resolve and instead used it to propelled her to put together this challenge to assist the Cayman Islands Crisis Centre in their efforts to assist women who may be in need. Through her story and her example, she wanted to raise awareness and to empower other women like herself to overcome the challenges they have already experienced or may yet face. "This is a challenge to generate awareness, while inspiring strength, endurance, bravery and resolve in other women" - says Oddy
